The first victory occurred Oct. 2, when the boys edged visiting Smithville 2-1 in double overtime. They followed that by bouncing Raytown South 8-0 Monday on the road.END OF STREAKExcelsior Springs’ longest winning streak this season in varsity volleyball ended last week.On Oct. 2, the girls fell to visiting Smithville 3-0 in Blue Division play, dropping the first set of the best-of-five competition 25-8, the second 25-13 and the finale 25-15.
