ES Parks and Rec releases July activities schedule
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Parks and Recreation Director Nate Williams has released a slate of July activities for Excelsior Springs residents to enjoy as part of National Parks & Recreation Month.
The first full week of July kicks off with Trivia Tuesday, starting at 6 p.m. July 7 on Facebook Live. Those who wish to participate must log into Facebook at 5:57 for the 20-question contest.
July 9 will bring Virtual Art in the Park. Westview Elementary art teacher Jade Williams will film the class as she conducts it. A link will be posted on the Parks and Recreation Department’s Facebook page at 9:30 a.m. that morning, so families will know what will be needed to participate.
The gaming community will get into action on July 10 with the ESports Mario Kart Tournament, slated to start at 5:30 p.m. at the Excelsior Springs Community Center.
