Reese Roberts looks to treasure the relationships she has built in athletics and academics during her final year at Excelsior Springs High School. “I have a lot of friends that are younger than me and I am really going to miss them when I graduate,” she said. The senior has formed friendships playing volleyball and competing in track, as a member of the Tigerettes dance team and as a manager for the girls basketball program. Outside of sports-related activities, she has built relationships as a member of student council. Roberts has built connections in academics, too. Math is her favorite subject. Jeff Meyer is her favorite teacher. “Mr. Meyer is so positive and always has great relationships with students, and is the most helpful and understanding teacher I have ever had,” she said.
