Lilly Goetz had a perfect day on Jan. 24, at least where wrestling wins and losses were concerned.The Excelsior Springs first-year high schooler went 5-0 that day in tournament competition at Brookfield to win the 120-pound division. In doing so, she led Excelsior Springs to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.Goetz was among a handful of Excelsior Springs girls who placed in the top four. Analese Happy, a sophomore, placed second at 110. The other top-four finishers were Shayla Wilder and Haylee Ray, who each took third; and Lillah Shue and Kaitlynn Foster, who each finished fourth.The Brookfield tournament followed duals competitions - a Jan. 20 dual-format tournament, hosted by Park Hill South; and a 48-15 shellacking of Raytown South Jan. 22 at Ray South.Excelsior Springs dropped its four duals at Park Hill South.
