Netters snap losing skid
Excelsior Springs is back in the win column in varsity boys tennis.The Tigers edged Odessa Monday on the road, snapping a three-dual losing streak. The three losses occurred last week, when the local netters went 1-3 overall. They opened the week April 21 with a 6-3 road win over Winnetonka, then fell 8-1 April 22 to Oak Park on the road, 7-2 to St. Michael the Archangel April 23 at Excelsior Springs and 6-3 April 24 to visiting Kearney.Austin Collins helped the Tigers down Winnetonka by cruising 8-0 in No. 1 singles.
