Megan Gilbertson pinpointed two areas that need work after watching her ballclub go 0-3 Aug. 30 in a seasonopening tournament at Lathrop.“We had a good offensive showing, but there are some things we need to work on, on the defensive side,” Gilbertson stated Monday via email. “We showed a good fight toward the end of all three games, but unfortunately, we had too big of a hole to get out of from missteps that happened earlier in the games. That is what we will be focusing on this week – how we can have better focus at the beginning of games to help us have more success toward the end of games.”Bella Loeffert, Reese Ryan and Kinley Rogers were among those who contributed to the offensive performance that impressed Gilbertson.
