Reynolds continues softball career, signs with NCMC

Excelsior Springs’ softball program has sent another student-athlete from high school to the collegiate ranks. Ariana Reynolds, who graduated in May, recently signed her letter of intent to play at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. “I am really looking forward to meeting new people and traveling to different places while playing softball at the next level,” Reynolds said. A transfer to Excelsior Springs from Fort Osage in Independence after her sophomore year, Reynolds became a starter at Excelsior Springs, where she was a first baseman and a designated player. During her two-year career with the Tigers, she hit .335, diving in 25 runs, scoring 19 and recording 106 putouts as a first baseman. “Getting the chance to be a varsity athlete and sharing that experience with a different group of teammates than I was used to was my greatest experience as part of the Lady Tiger softball team,” Reynolds said. “We bonded reall...
