Adult use timeline for cannabis regulation

The Division of Cannabis Regulation of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) created an adult use timeline, giving residents a vision of dates and what will come from Amendment 3 in regard to micro businesses and their application process.

2023

• Beginning Jan. 7 — personal cultivation application forms and instructions will be available to the public.

 

• Feb. 6 — Marijuana may be available in dispensaries once licensed and personal cultivation applications are accepted and program rules are finalized.

• Beginning June 6 — Microbusiness application forms and instructions will be available.

 

• Sept. 4 through Oct. 4 — First-round microbusiness applications will be accepted.

 

• Dec. 3 — Microbusiness’ applications will be reviewed for eligibility.

2024

• June 30 — Microbusiness applications will be accepted for the second round.

• Aug. 7 — DHSS can begin issuing more comprehensive facility licenses.

• Aug. 29 — Second round microbusiness applications are reviewed for eligibility.

2025

• March 27 — Third round of microbusiness applications accepted.

 

• May 26 — Third round applications will be reviewed for eligibility.
