A suspect believed to be involved in a drive-by shooting was apprehended by Kearney Police, with the collaboration and support of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Platte County Sheriff’s Office and Riverside Police Department.Conner I. Landie, 18, has been arrested and charged with one felony of unlawful use of a weapon, shooting at or from a motor vehicle at a person, motor vehicle or building.Landie appeared this week before Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Louis Angles and entered a plea of not guilty. Angles accepted the plea and advised Landie to immediately apply for a public defender.Landie is currently in the custody of Clay County Detention Center with a bond of $100,000. He was ordered to appear again this week for a bond reduction hearing, but information was not made available as of press time.
