EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The community Presbyterian church, Barbee Memorial, welcomes Pastor Adel Thalos as the transitional pastor. Thalos will guide the congregation for the next 12 to 18 months. Thalos is expected to focus on community outreach and continue world missionary support. Thalos and his wife, Lynne, come from the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area. Services at the church, located at Tiger Drive and Highway 69, begin at 10:45 a.m. Sundays. In addition to holding Sunday services every week, small groups of church members meet at the church and at members’ residences at various times. “We welcome you to join us in worshipping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” church information states.
