Tucked between the rows of bounce houses, the 360 photo booth and the petting zoo, conversations about public safety and trust were taking place at Liberty City Hall’s parking lot during this year’s National Night Out.The recent event brought together the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Liberty Police Department, Clay County Prosecutor’s Office and other community partners for an evening designed to connect with residents in a relaxed setting.Clay County Prosecutor’s Office Community Engagement Specialist Cher Congour noted the gathering offered a chance to show another side of their work.“This was our second year participating in National Night Out,” she said. “It’s a great opportunity to connect with the community in a relaxed and fun setting.
