City invests in infrastructure, celebrates community involvement

Excelsior Springs is moving forward with a $195,000 engineering agreement for sewer rehabilitation, the latest step in a multimillion-dollar project aimed at upgrading critical infrastructure across the city.McClure Engineering will lead the 2025 sanitary sewer lining and rehabilitation project, funded in part by a $2.37 million grant from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The city’s $645,000 match will come from capital improvement funds. The project includes 15,000 feet of sewer lining, manhole rehabilitation and condition reviews using closed-circuit television inspections.
