On Sept. 21, the City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement between the Excelsior Springs and Ray County hospitals to let Excelsior Springs Hospital operate a clinic in the osteopath’s vacated office at 411 Pennsylvania in Lawson.
In other health care-related news, the council approved decreasing the hospital’s Board of Trustees from nine to seven members.
“The reduction in numbers just makes it easier for the board to achieve a quorum,” hospital information stated.
