Clark released on bond

Jan. 11, 2018 – An Excelsior Springs man posted bond Thursday after being charged for his part in a string of storage unit burglaries.
Officials charged Jason L. Clark with a Class D Felony count of Burglary in the Second Degree after he said he traveled with Tina. L. Whitmore on numerous occasions to various storage units.
According to the probable cause statement, “Tina would be driving her silver Ford Taurus, which she kept her bolt cutter in. She would load up as much stuff as she could, and they would take the property to her residence.”
Also according to the probable cause statement, Clark traveled with Whitmore to Woodway Storage in Kearney on July 22 where Whitmore entered a storage unit and took items including clothing, a laptop, sports equipment and Cornhuskers football memorabilia.
