LIBERTY – A March 8 Clay County Sheriff’s Office pursuit resulted in an arrest and four felony charges.
The Clay County Prosecutor’s Office charged Jimmy Sonneveldt, 32, with tampering with a motor vehicle, first degree, a Class D felony; two counts of leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage or $1,000 or more, each a Class E felony; and resisting arrest by fleeing, a Class E felony.
The court set bond at $75,000.
The Missouri Department of Corrections on Parole had released Sonneveldt about two weeks before the incident.
