Coalition launches redesigned website

KANSAS CITY-NORTH – The Northland Coalition, the tri-county umbrella coalition for 20 local community coalitions, has launched a newly designed, user-friendly website featuring expanded prevention information, resources and partnership contacts, coalition information states.

“We are so excited about the newly designed website,” Emily Barnes said.

Barnes is a community prevention specialist and the Northland Coalition liaison for Tri-County Mental Health Services.

“Anyone visiting the site will find it easy to navigate to find current, expanded information and resources to help parents and the community provide the support and guidance our youth need to meet their full potential,” she said.

Since 2000, the Northland Coalition has brought together teams of volunteers from Clay, Platte and Ray counties to implement programs and activities that promote healthy, safe and drug-free communities, coaltion information states.
