Laughter and excitement could be heard on the streets of downtown Excelsior Spring as participants meandered throughthe shops and other stops on this years Sippin’ into Spring event hosted by the Downtown Excelsior Partnership (DEP) March 25. The sold-out crowd enjoyed not only the beautiful spring weather, but also wine samples and shopping at 22 participating downtown businesses. “These activities are always a blast,” said Molly Roberts, owner of Molly Roberts Studio. “We see lots of new customers and current clients; we absolutely love these events.” Debbie Reece and her friends all attended the event, traveling from the Kansas City area. “We are having a lot of fun going through all the shops,” she said. The DEP hosts many such events throughout the year, which draw not only locals, but many out-of-town visitors as well.
