DNR releases water report covering Ray, Clay districts

JEFFERSON CITY – The Department of Natural Resources reviewed water quality for all eight public water systems in Ray County and Excelsior Springs PWS in Clay County. “No violations occurred in the calendar year 2020,” DNR reported for each district in the release of the 2022 Census of Missouri Public Water Systems. Ray County has these districts: Richmond Water Service, Hardin PWS, Henrietta PWS, Missouri American Lawson, Orrick PWS, Ray County Consolidated PWS 2, Ray County PWS 3 and Wood Heights PWS. The annual census provides detailed information regarding the volume, source water type, population and chemical characteristics about Missouri’s 2,764 public water systems.
