Eden Village to host panel discussion
A discussion will be held in Excelsior Springs to discuss the city’s need for Eden Village, a non-profit organization aiming to end homelessness.
The discussion will take place Thursday, July 27, at the Mid-Continent Public Library in Excelsior Springs.
The panel will include Nate Schlueter, chief visionary officer; Jenifer Chapel, caseworker; Alfredo Palacol,
founding executive director and Kelly Anderson, board president. The group plans to discuss their vision of a world where no one sleeps outdoors.
The topics of interest for dis- cussion will be to explain who Eden Village will serve and how someone struggling with homelessness can be served.
Additionally, the panel will discuss the type of impact Excelsior Springs will experience and how people can become involved with Eden Village.
“Eden Village is a proven model to reduce homeless persons living on the street,” said Anderson.
