A discussion will be held in Excelsior Springs to discuss the city’s need for Eden Village, a non-profit organization aiming to end homelessness. The discussion will take place Thursday, July 27, at the Mid-Continent Public Library in Excelsior Springs. The panel will include Nate Schlueter, chief visionary officer; Jenifer Chapel, caseworker; Alfredo Palacol, founding executive director and Kelly Anderson, board president. The group plans to discuss their vision of a world where no one sleeps outdoors. The topics of interest for dis- cussion will be to explain who Eden Village will serve and how someone struggling with homelessness can be served.
