ES Library plans summer events

The Mid-Continent Public Library located at 1460 Kearney Road in Excelsior Springs will be hosting several summer events in June for children of all ages. Planned events include: • June 12 6:30-8:30 p.m. Teen Role-Playing Games; Teens coming together to engage in tabletop games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Fate, Starfinder and Lasers and Feelings. • June 14 3:00-3:45 p.m. Kansas City Zoo: Jungle Harmony for children 4 and older to learn about a cohesive ecosystem in the rainforest with animal ambassadors from Kansas City Zoo to teach children the layers of the jungle and how they work together. • June 15 6:30-7:30 p.m. event Using Findmypast for adults who want to learn how to search ancestral records.
