ES man pleads guilty, accepts plea agreement
A Kansas City man pled guilty to two felony charges and accepted a plea agreement in Clay County Court this week.
Alan R. Davis, 20, entered a guilty plea on April 26 to first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest, detention or stop by fleeing, creating a risk of serious injury or death to any person.
Kevin D. Garrison, Davis’ public defender, and Clay County Prosecutor Zachary R. Thompson jointly filed a plea agreement suggesting a three-year sentence for each charge.
Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge
David P. Chamberlain accepted the recommended agreement and ordered the three years to be served concurrently in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
