The Excelsior Springs School Board honored students for their hard work and dedication for their participation in the annual school play “Seussical the Musical,” as well as recognizing the boy’s soccer team for ranking fourth in the Class 2 state boys soccer tournament. High School Activities Director Eric Marshall recognized the team and explained this is the third consecutive year it has made it to the final four. He said, “Making the final four is a huge deal in high school athletics.” Soccer Coach Zac Ganzer spoke on behalf of the team and noted ranking fourth comes with hard work, and the players on the team performed small habits and routines during the offseason and worked together as a group constantly over a period that resulted in what the team was able to accomplish for the season.
