ESFD provides mutual aid in Mosby fire
Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) assisted with extinguishing a residential structure fire in Mosby this week.
The department assisted Fishing River Fire District on the scene at 6th Street in Mosby.
“We were requested for mutual aid on a fully engulfed garage at 1:36 p.m.,” ESFD Assistant Chief Zac St. John said.
There are no reported injuries from civilians or fire personnel. The fire remains under investigation, according to St. John.
Also responding to the blaze were Kearney Fire Department, Liberty Fire Department and Clay County Sheriff’s Office, helping extinguish the fire and providing traffic control.
Details of damages sustained were not available as of press time.
