EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – If you cannot be at Tiger Stadium, the Excelsior Springs High School gymnasium, or the softball and baseball fields this year, you can still watch the Tigers play. In cooperation with the National Federation of High School Sports, Activities Director Joe Greim has linked those facilities to have capabilities to live stream all events that take place. “We know the games will be different than what we are used to,” Greim said. “The game on the field will look the same, but things around the game will look different, so we want to give everyone the opportunity to watch if they cannot be there.” Equipment to broadcast the games will arrive around Sept. 3, just prior to Excelsior Springs’ varsity home opener in 11-man football, slated for Sept. 11 against Moberly. Because of the arrival of the equipment on that date, junior varsity football games will be missed.
