Members of the Excelsior Springs High School (ESHS) class of 2026 looked back on years spent growing up together before stepping into what was repeatedly described as a future filled with possibilities.The ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 while emphasizing themes of community, resilience and the relationships students built throughout their years in the school district.Principal Dr. Laura Hartman opened the ceremony by welcoming attendees and encouraging students to approach the future with purpose and confidence.“Tonight is a night you will take with you for the rest of your life, not because of the caps and gowns, the pictures, or even your diplomas, but because tonight represents possibil- ity,” said Hartman. “Class of 2026, you are stepping into a season of life where doors are about to be open in ways you cannot even imagine yet.”Hartman acknowledged some graduates already knew the path to be pursu...
