ESPS team shares program insight at SAFE meeting

Members of the Excelsior Springs Psychiatric Services (ESPS), a service of the Excelsior Springs Hospital (ESH), recently presented information regarding their services at the recent Substance Abuse-Free Environment (SAFE) meeting. ESH Chief Executive Officer Kristen T. DeHart, Dr. Roshan Dasari, MD, MPH, Psychiatric Service affiliate Brenda Wilzback and team member Susan Kirby shared ESPS information recently presented to the Children’s Services Fund of Clay County Board. The Clay County Children’s Services Fund (CCCSF) provides grants to organizations offering services that protect the wellbeing and safety of children or youth and strengthen their families. ESH applied for a grant through the fund and was awarded the full amount. The total funding reported for 2022-2023 was $351,260 and that funding has increased to $1,443,444 for 202324.
