Six service contracts have been approved for the Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD). Board members approved agreements for services with Rainbow Center, Synergy, Zack Group, Behavioral Health Allies, the University of Missouri Kansas City, the City of Excelsior Springs and KVC Behavioral Healthcare Midwest Inc. Rainbow Center partners with 20 diverse school districts, spanning metropolitan, suburban, and rural areas, to cater to students enrolled in the day school program. These students present with a wide range of diagnoses, including autism, behavior disorders and other multi-categorical disabilities.
