KANSAS CITY – Law enforcers found Trinton Phillips, 21, Excelsior Springs, with a fatal gunshot wound on the Price Chopper parking lot, 9717 N. Ash Ave., Kansas City, across from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty. “It is believed that it was an attempted robbery,” Kansas City Police spokeswoman Doaa El-Ashkar said Tuesday.
