1:18 p.m., 400 block of South St., An officer responded with the Fire Department on a report of a fire. It was determined to be a barrel fire. The fire was extinguished and responsible party was counseled.

1:25 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., David Sparks, WM, 34, was arrested on three Kansas City Police Department failure to appear warrants. His bond was set at $1,175. He was booked and incarcerated pending extradition.

1:31 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, An officer took a report of a theft from the battery cage at Walmart.

3:34 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., An officer returned a set of keys found in the lot to the owner.

6:19 p.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave., An officer responded on a report that a WF was trespassing on the property. Melissa Lake, WF, 45, was arrested for trespassing with a bond of $100.

12:15 a.m., Happy Lane and Vintage Circle, Terry Schoolfield, WM, 55, was arrested for driving while suspended. He was booked and released with a citation.

12:28 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Stephanie Suddarth, WF, 34, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for fail to appear with a bond of $500 cash. She was booked and incarcerated pending payment of bond.

12:35 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Kayla L. Shelley, WF, 27, was arrested on a local warrant for fail to appear for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disobey a lawful order, littering, stealing, lights required, and two counts of fail to appear. Her bond was set at $500 cash-only. She was incarcerated at Clay County Detention Center.

1:02 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Bryce Wheeler, WM, 23, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for improper registration. His bond was set at $95 cash-only. He was booked and released with a court date.

2:21 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., Bryce Wheeler, WM, 23, was arrested on a two Ray County warrants for fail to appear for speeding and probation violation for dangerous drugs. His bond was set at $5,160. He was booked and transported to Elkhorn where he was released to Ray County.

5:24 p.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave., Adam W. Thomas, WM, 28, was arrested on a Missouri State Highway Patrol warrant for fail to appear for commercial vehicle no seatbelt with a bond of $100 cash-only. He was later released to MSHP.

8:07 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., Stephanie N. Suddarth, WF, 34, was arrested on 10 Independence warrants for failure to pay fines and failure to appear with a total bond of $5,030. She was booked and incarcerated to await extradition by Independence Police Department.

9:18 p.m., Saratoga and Benton Avenue, A WM, 39, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

9:51 p.m., 400 block of Isley Blvd., Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated party knocking on doors and asking for a ride. It was determined the party was a victim of a domestic assault which had occurred outside the city. The party was transported by ambulance.

12:30 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Kristina L. Barcenas-Acosta, WF, 38, was arrested on a local warrant for fail to appear for fail to use crosswalk, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine. She was incarcerated pending payment of $500 cash-only bond.

7:13 a.m., Broadway and Kansas City Avenue, Scotty Welch, WM, 46, was arrested for driving while suspended. He was booked and released with a court date.

7:51 a.m., 700 block of Northwind Drive, Brooklyn Upchurch, WF, 20, reported her van had been stolen overnight.

9:43 a.m., Isley and Regent Avenue, Colleen McComas, WF, 26, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for failure to appear for failure to register a vehicle. Her bond was set at $250. She was transported to Clay County Detention and released to them.

12:28 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Lisa Beal, WF, 34, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for a revocation hearing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $1,500 cash-only. She will be held at Clay County on our charges.

1:52 p.m., 92 Highway and Dagley Street, Lachrisha Wynn, WF, 36, and Jeremy Menke, WM, 31, were involved in a very minor accident. They exchanged information and requested nothing further.

5:21 p.m., 400 block of Holtz Ave., Officers responded to the area on a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned to her residence.

8:51 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Drive, Officer took a report for sexual assault.

11:34 p.m., 1000 block of Fredericksburg Road, Officers located the stolen vehicle from earlier in the day and a WM, 19, was detained on a 24-hour investigative hold.

11:04 a.m., 1300 block of Lake Maurer Road, Officers responded on a domestic assault that had just occurred between mother and daughter. Information was taken for a report.

11:28 a.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Road, An officer responded to take a report for use of a counterfeit bill. Investigation continues.

11:37 a.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave., An officer responded to Police Headquarters to take a report for theft of a cell phone. Investigation continues.

11:55 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Tyler Icenhour, WM, 25, was arrested on two local failure to appear warrants for resisting arrested and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked in to Clay County Detention Center with a cash-only bond of $800.

4:35 p.m., 100 block of W. Broadway Ave., Officer took a report for vandalism.

4:35 p.m., 500 block of Isley Blvd., Officer spoke with two parties via telephone regarding harassment. The parties were counseled and advised of their options.

9:15 p.m., 2300 block of Vintage Drive, Kerry A. Price, WF, 32, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, license plate light, fail to keep right, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and child endangerment with a total bond of $250.

2:09 a.m., St. Louis Avenue and Corum Road, Christopher Eldredge, WM, 35, was involved in a minor injury accident at the location.

2:10 a.m., St. Louis Avenue and Corum Road, Christopher Eldredge, WM, 35, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was later released after the testing process.

9:59 a.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Road, An officer responded to take a report for burglary from a storage unit.

10:36 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, Officers responded to a complaint of the odor of marijuana in the building. Contraband items were collected from one residence for destruction at Police Headquarters.

11:16 p.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Road, Jennifer L. Mallett, WF, 43, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and open container. She was booked and released with a court date.

5:36 a.m., 100 block of Southview Drive, Anthony T. Sanchez, HM, 21, reported his cell phone and $25 cash stolen from his residence by a known party. Information was obtained for a report.

2:55 p.m., 600 block of Highland St., Officers responded on a theft that just occurred at the residence. Information was obtained for a report. Investigation continues.

5:27 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, Tiffany Provance, WF, 39, reported fraudulent use of her credit card. The investigation continues.

8:45 p.m., Miller Avenue and Milwaukee Street, Timothy J. Barney, WM, 51, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, no insurance, speeding and turn signal. He was booked and released with a court date.

11:54 p.m., 700 block of Magnolia Ave., Officers responded with the Fire Department on a smoke investigation. Nothing was found.

12:26 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Jodi M. Bell, WF, 37, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for expired plates and speeding with bond of $300 cash-only.

11:03 a.m., Liberty and Vaughn Street, Jennifer Woods, WF, 37, was arrested for turn signal, possession of marijuana and child endangerment. She was booked and released with a court date.

11:47 a.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave., Officers responded with the ambulance on a possible overdose. The party refused treatment.

12:32 p.m., 1700 block of W. Jesse James, An officer pursued a vehicle to the south city limits.

2:46 p.m., 400 block of Sagamore Road, Officers responded on a domestic assault.

2:56 p.m., 300 block of E. Broadway Ave., Officers investigated an assault.

3:08 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Garrett Grusch, WM, 20, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for no insurance, no license on person and speeding. His bond was set at $500 cash -only. He was booked and incarcerated.

3:47 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Rayshod T. Ashton, BM, 32, was arrested on a local warrant for two counts of failure to appear and trespassing. He is being held at Clay County Detention Center with a $250 cash-only bond.

4:21 p.m., 400 block of Holtz Ave., Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault.

4:53 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Thomas F. Branham, WM, 59, was arrested on two Clay County warrants for probation violation and contempt of court with a total bond of $28,128.63. He was booked and incarcerated to await extradition.

4:56 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Melinda L. Doughty, WF, 32, was arrested on a local warrant for fail to appear for failure to restrain a canine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia with a cash-only bond of $500.

5:17 p.m., River and Marietta Street, A found electronic tablet was brought to Police Headquarters. An attempt was made to contact the owner.

5:20 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Tyler L. Icenhour, WM, 25, was arrested on two Blue Springs warrants for fail to appear for stealing and trespassing with a total bond of $6,000. He was booked and incarcerated to await extradition.

5:53 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Jodi M. Bell, WF, 37, was arrested on a Parkville warrant for fail to appear for shoplifting with a bond of $500. She was booked and incarcerated to await extradition.

7:14 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Troy L. Conkin, WM, 37, was arrested on a Kansas City felony warrant for burglary. He was later released to KCPD.

10:12 p.m., 900 block of Martin Ave., Officers responded to a report of disturbance in progress. It was determined to be verbal only. Nothing further was requested.

11:49 p.m., Isley Boulevard and Gordon Street, Nicole Hollingsworth, WF, 23, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and defective equipment and released after the booking process. Shawna Danner, WF, 28, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Clay County Sheriff’s Department warrant for fail to appear. She was issued a citation and released the CCSD.

8:28 a.m., 2000 block of Joy St., Brenda Shelton, WF, 66, reported she had been involved in a minor accident and that the other driver left the scene.

1:24 p.m., 1200 block of Magnolia West Ave., An officer took a report for domestic assault.

2:39 p.m., 700 block of Curran Ave., A party reported someone had attempted to scam her via Facebook.

3:36 p.m., 1000 block of Rowell Ave., Derek Taylor, WM, 32, reported a bicycle had been stolen

3:43 p.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave., An officer obtained information for a report regarding an assault.

3:50 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, Cheryl M. Class, WF, 33, was arrested for stealing. She was booked and released with a court date. She and a WM, 55, were issued trespass warnings.

7:49 p.m., 600 block of St. Louis Ave., An officer responded to a report of a runaway juvenile and a missing 17-year-old. The 17-year-old later returned home. The juvenile was located and released to his father.

8:13 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Drive, Officers responded to a report of several out-of-control parents at the Powder Puff game. The game had been canceled and the parties had left prior to officers’ arrival.

9:24 p.m., Concourse and Kansas City Avenue, Officers responded to a disturbance involving multiple parties and possible property damage. The parties advised it was verbal only and no one wished to assist in prosecution for any damage.

1:39 a.m., 69 Highway and McCleary Road, Officer attempted to stop a vehicle and they failed to stop and left the city limits. Investigation continues.

9:39 a.m., 400 block of Superior St., Officers were dispatched on a report of a parties coming out of the Superior Park Boarding Home carrying items. Contact was made with parties who were issued trespass warnings for the building. Casey Gericke, WM, 27 was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released with a court date.

10:44 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Michael Wyant, WM, 57, surrendered on a local warrant for failure to appear for open liquor. He was booked and released with a court date after posting $100 cash bond.

3:00 p.m., 300 block of W. Broadway Ave., Officers investigated a juvenile assault.

5:50 p.m., 100 block of 100 block of Greenwood Ave., Paige A. Dixon, WF, 23, reported her property stolen. The investigation continues.

9:56 p.m., 100 block of Southside Circle, Information was taken for a report regarding child abuse. Investigation continues.

12:48 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Stephen Burch, WM, was arrested on a local fail to appear warrant with a bond of $750 cash. He was also issued citations for driving while revoked, drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance. He was incarcerated pending payment of bond.

10:05 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Heather Jesse, WF, 30, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for failure to pay fines. She was booked in with a cash only bond of $199.50.

10:51 a.m., 200 block of Dunbar Ave., An officer responded to take a report for an assault which occurred.

10:54 a.m., 1400 block of Kearney Road, Officers responded on a report a WM had just stolen a key to the business. Timothy Kennedy, WM, 22, was located nearby and was placed on a 24-hour hold for stealing. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond of $250.

2:41 p.m., 2300 block of Vintage Drive, An officer responded to speak with an employee regarding being harassed via telephone. She was advised of her options.

9:57 p.m., Isley and Lovers Lane, Richard Markwell, WM, 40, was arrested for no insurance, illegal plates and no driver’s license. He was booked and released with a court date.

11:16 p.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave. Frances White, WF, 20, reported someone had used her stolen credit card at Pour Boys. Investigation continues.

1:30 a.m., 1200 block of St. Louis Ave., Officer contacted Nina House, WF, 35, who was arrested for possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was booked and released with her citations.

11:26 a.m., 1100 block of St. Louis Ave., Officers responded on a report of a party possibly trespassing at a vacant residence. Contact was made with Lee Vires, WM, 44, and he was issued a trespass warning and advised not to return to the property. Nothing further was requested.

2:32 p.m., 300 block of E. Broadway Ave., Officers responded on a suspicious party messing with the back of a residence. Kristopher Olsen, WM, 45, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for possession of a controlled substance with a bond of $2,500. He was booked in and later released to Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

2:54 p.m., 2300 block of Vintage Drive, Linda D. Criscione, WF, 61, reported her cell phone stolen.

6:51 p.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave., Officers responded to the Post Office on a business alarm. A WM, 53, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for trespassing.

9:37 p.m., South and Marietta Street, Julia K. Allen, WF, 51, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, turn signal, and stop sign. She was booked and released on her own recognizance with a court date.

1:06 a.m., 300 block of E. Excelsior St., Carissa King, WF, 41, reported a leaving the scene accident at the residence. The suspect was not located at this time. Investigation Continues.

10:30 a.m., 69 and 92 Highway, Rebecca Server, WF, 26, was arrested for driving while suspended. Due to the circumstances, she was issued a citation with a court date and released to a valid driver on scene.

3:52 p.m., 400 block of Isley Blvd., A WM, 37, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for trespassing.

6:29 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Duane A. New, WM, 55, was arrested by Gladstone Police Department on a local warrant for fail to appear for unlawful condition of property. He was released after posting $250 cash-only bond. Ashley R. New, WF, 23, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for driving while suspended, brake light out, fail to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia with bond of $1,000 cash-only. She was booked and incarcerated pending payment of bond.

4:12 a.m., Crown Hill and Wornall Road, Tiffani D. Miller, WF, 24, was arrested for fail to dim lights, following too closely, speeding, fail to obey a traffic signal, property damage, possession of drug paraphernalia and fail to stop at a stop sign. Additional charges are pending.

2:28 p.m., 1600 block of Kearney Rd., Officers responded on a shoplifter that had been detained by loss prevention. Magen Coursen, WF, 31, was booked in for shoplifting and was released with a court date after the booking process.

6:43 p.m., 600 block of Benton Ave., Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault that had occurred previously. Information was taken for a report.

8:43 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., Tiffani D. Miller, WF, 24, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for fail to appear for possession of controlled substance with a cash-only bond of $5,000. She was later released to Clay County.

12:00 a.m., 69 Highway and McCleary Road, Brent C. Minton, WM, 46, was arrested for no driver’s license, defective equipment, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

9:40 a.m., 100 block of Crown Hill Road, Officer responded in reference to the outside internet junction box being destroyed. Investigation continues.

10:30 a.m., 100 block of Corum Road, Officer responded in reference to a customer being rude to management at the business and not cooperating with her attitude. They were both advised of the options and nothing else was requested.

11:41 p.m., 2200 block of Happy Lane, Officer contacted two subjects on a car stop. Officer took possession of some marijuana, which will be destroyed at the station.
