LAST WEEK Excelsior Springs fire and police departments responded to a report of a structure fire with possible entrapment at 300 E. Excelsior Street. Upon arrival, one person was determined to be entrapped in the building. The individual was removed by fire personnel and taken to an area hospital. Assistant Chief Camron White said, “It does appear to be an accidental incident, but it is still under investigation.”
