Four ESFD firefighters honor the fallen from 9-11
Four firefighters from the Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) bravely participated in the poignant Kansas City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.Their noble act was a heartfelt tribute to the fallen firefighters of Sept.11, 2001, honoring their bravery and sacrifice.ESFD Assistant Chief Zac St. John, Captain Jason Ortbals, part-time Firefighter Cody Horky and Probationary Firefighter Camden Dickey, along with a large group of 343 firefighters, joined in a symbolic 110-story climb to the top of the Skyline Collection high rise in downtown Kansas City.
