Republicans Kurtis Gregory and Doug Richey seek to represent District 21 in the Missouri State Senate, to be decided in the general election in November. The Richmond News asked the candidates a series of questions. Background A 37-year-old resident of Marshall, Gregory currently works as a farmer. He is a graduate of Santa Fe Alma and earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in general agriculture from the University of Missouri. A resident of Excelsior Springs, 51-year-old Richey is a pastor and a current state representive, has a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in finance and economy, as well as a master of arts, master of divinity, master of theology and doctor of management for education.
