Currently facing nine felony charges, Timothy M. Haslett Jr. may have his bond increased after the body found in Saline County was identified as being that of a potential witness in the case against him, according to the Clay County Prosecutors Office (CCPO). “On July 30 our office was notified that law enforcement has made an initial identification of a body discovered in Saline County as the remains of Jaynie Crosdale,” said Clay County Prosecutor Zachary Thompson. “Our office is working closely with law enforcement to gather all evidence and information that is needed to build the strongest case possible and deliver justice for Jaynie Crosdale.” CCPO has made a request to increase Haslett’s bond and that their motion be heard at the earliest opportunity. The next scheduled court date for Haslett will be Sept. 11 at 1:30 p.m. for a docket call.
