Hospital programs focus on fraud prevention, food safety
From protecting bank accounts to protecting dinner tables, Excelsior Springs Hospital’s August Health and Wellness programs will focus on helping residents recognize everyday risks before they become bigger problems.
The monthly series will feature two educational presentations at the Excelsior Springs Community Center, both beginning at 11:30 a.m. The first, Financial Health and Fraud Prevention, is scheduled for Aug. 13 and will be presented by Greg Broadbent, financial consultant with Family WealthCare Center. The second, Understanding Cyclospora and Safe Food Practices, will take place on Aug. 14 and feature Angela Ochoa, infection control nurse with Excelsior Springs Hospital.
Registration is required for senior citizen and non-senior lunches and may be completed at www.esprcc. com/senior-center.
