LIBERTY – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office identified the inmate pronounced dead at an area hospital – after suffering a medical emergency in the Clay County Detention Center on Friday – as Charles Aaron Holtsclaw, 36, Kansas City. The Sheriff’s Office asked the Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control to investigate what led to the incident. No additional information is available at this time.
