Kehoe serves breakfast to state park campers, crew

Watkins Mill State Park campers woke up to breakfast from Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, who was promoting assets of Missouri State Parks and Missouri Tourism. “Tourism is arguably the second largest industry in the state,” Kehoe said. Kehoe feels strongly about promoting Missouri’s 93 state parks and historic sites, and the tourism industry serviced by these locations. When Kehoe and his constituents arrived at Watkins Mill State Historic Site, they began making breakfast for maintenance workers. “They work their tail off,” he said. “Maintenance workers keep Missouri parks looking fantastic.” When campers started to wake up, Kehoe turned his attention to them and provided breakfast for their entire family. “It’s a nice way to meet people from all over Missouri and out of state,” Kehoe said.
