A warrant has been recalled after a Lawson man made an appearance in Ray County Court. Tanner A. Leonard, 20, recently appeared in court after Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins issued a warrant for violating pre-trial release conditions. Leonard is currently facing one felony charge of second-degree assault and three misdemeanor charges. The misdemeanor charges include two counts of fourth-degree assault and one count of first-offense minor visibly intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of more than 0.2%. The range of punishment for the class D felony is imprisonment in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections for a term of not less than one year and not to exceed seven years; or by imprisonment for a special term not to exceed one year in the county jail or other authorized penal institution; or by a fine not to exceed $10,000; or by both imprisonment and a fine.
