An Excelsior Estates man has been released after allegedly failing to register his vehicle with the sex offender registry. Daniel E. Clark, 63, has been charged with one class D felony through Ray County Court of failing to register as a sex offender, underlying offense an unclassified felony, A or B felony, or felony involving a child under the age of 14. The Ray County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) arrested Clark on March 11 after a no-bond-allowed warrant was issued. He later entered a not-guilty plea before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins. Judge Baskins granted the requested bond modification and released Clark on his own recognizance.
