Several employees at Magna Seating in Excelsior Springs have achieved 25 years of service.
Employees were invited to a special lunch with management staff and awarded certificates and 25-year service pins.
Excelsior Springs Seating opened in 1993 as Douglas & Lomason and was then purchased by Magna in 1996.
Employees at the plant have built vehicle seats for the Ford Contour, Mercury Mystique, Escape, Mariner, and currently, the Ford Transit Van. The plant has won six Ford World Excellence Awards from 2005 – 2010. Through floods, tornadoes, and lay off, these employees remained dedicated and loyal.
The Management team said they would like to thank the employees for their years of service.
“We would not be the success we are today without their hard work and senior leadership,” they said.
