MSNP raises awareness for suicide prevention

The 2020 Missouri Suicide Prevention Network’s (MSNP) data indicates Missouri suicide rates were the eleventh leading cause of death for all ages and the third leading cause of death among 10–24-year-olds. MSNP’s Suicide Prevention in Schools Committee gathers and reflects on current data to formulate plans in order to take preventative action aiding in a reduction of suicide rates within Missouri school districts. The committee provides vital resources for Missouri schools to educate and implement protocols for prevention and helps spread awareness through their suicide prevention guidebook.
