Nebraska man pleads not guilty to felony charges

A Nebraska man recently pled not guilty to two felony charges. Timothy M. Miller, 38, of Omaha, Neb., is facing two felony charges of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest, detention, or stop by fleeing. Miller appeared in Clay County Courthouse before Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Timothy J. Flook on Feb. 9 for an arraignment hearing. The report states an elderly woman called Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on Feb. 2 regarding an unknown vehicle in her driveway near H Highway and Crockett Road, southwest of Excelsior Springs. The woman then reported a man got out of the vehicle and ran behind her residence. The vehicle in her driveway was determined to be stolen out of Nebraska. CCSO deputies and Excelsior Springs Police Department officers responded to the area in attempt to locate the driver.
