EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The three-day, Annual Tiger Classic Golf Tournament has been canceled for the first time since the start in 2004.

The event has raised over $1 million for Excelsior Springs.

“It is with a heavy heart that The Gregg Williams Foundation has announced the cancellation of the 2020 Tiger Golf Classic and the surrounding events,” organizers stated in a release.

The information stated they decided to cancel due to the coronavirus, COVID-19.

“The health of our participants is of the utmost importance to the foundation,” President Tray Harkins stated.

The tournament is expected to return in July 2021. Event information will be posted at www. greggwilliamsfoundation.org.
