Orrick man violates house arrest following guilty plea
An Orrick man who once faced 11 felony child sex abuse charges and ultimately pleaded guilty to two charges is now the subject of a warrant after allegedly violating the terms of his house arrest, throwing his plea agreement and sentencing into uncertainty.Cody L. Ryan, 31, was originally charged with six counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child under 14 and one count of first-degree sexual misconduct involving a child under 15. Instead, as part of a plea agreement, he entered guilty pleas to two counts of first-degree statutory sodomy at a recent hearing.On May 1, Ray County Prosecutor Camille Johnston filed a motion to revoke Ryan’s condition of release and issue a warrant.
