EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The 2020 Piccadilly Gala has been rescheduled to April 17, 2021, as a COVID-19 health precaution, but the Excelsior Springs Parks and Recreation Foundation offers ticket holders an alternative. The foundation board created “Dilly,” an abbreviated Piccadilly, with monthly drawings and prizes for those who wish to donate their ticket to the fundraising effort. Donated tickets will be entered into monthly drawings for prizes, such as overnight stays at bed-and-breakfasts, gift certificates to spas or restaurants and the use of a roll-off dumpster. Drawings will be conducted on Facebook. Participants need not be present during the live broadcast to win. Those who donate tickets also will receive a commemorative porcelain tile with their names displayed at the new Rainbow Splash Park when completed.
