March 9, 2018 – The Excelsior Springs Police Department responded to the following calls for the week of February 27 through March 5.

Tuesday, February 27

12:10 a.m., 200 block of S. Kansas City Ave.: Officer stickered a vehicle for tow that was parked with expired plates.

8:02 a.m., 1300 block of Persimmon Dr.: Officer spoke with a party about a man who had flipped her off. She requested extra patrol.

8:18 a.m., 700 block of Northwind Dr.: An officer spoke with a party who was having discipline problems with her teenaged son. She was advised of her options.

8:49 a.m., 200 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Management reported vandalism and thefts from vacuums at the car wash. He requested extra patrol.

10:15 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer conducted an escort for the Finance Department.

10:44 a.m., Kearney and Old Orchard Ave.: Animal Control requested a report number assigned for a canine picked up on Feb. 26, 2018.

10:46 a.m., Park and Superior: Animal Control responded on a report of a canine running at large. A verbal warning was issued.

10:58 a.m., 400 block of Wildwood St.: Animal Control took a dog bite report.

11:38 a.m., 500 block of Tiger Dr.: A funeral escort was conducted.

12:00 p.m., Old Orchard and Kimball: A party reported a vehicle possibly involved in an accident parked on the street with parts and debris around it. The owner was aware.

12:23 p.m., Broadway and S. Main St.: An officer assisted a truck driver with getting out of the downtown area.

12:40 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: An officer requested a report for an occurrence at Walmart on Feb. 25, 2018.

12:54 p.m., 1100 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Katheryn Jennings, WF, 61, was involved in a one vehicle accident.

1:11 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: An officer spoke with a party about the carry concealed law.

1:26 p.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave.: An officer checked on a report of a careless driver. The party was not located.

2:36 p.m., Wornall and Lodwick Ln.: Officer was dispatched on a report of a party cutting trees on city property. The subject was cutting brush and cleaning up the property.

2:44 p.m., 200 block of N. Maple Ave.: Animal Control picked up two stray cats.

2:55 p.m., 1300 block of Muriel Ln.: Officer contacted a party who had his child secured with a dog collar and chain in the yard. The party advised he was attempting to keep the child contained while he worked on his vehicle. He was advised to make better arrangements and agreed to do so.

2:59 p.m., 200 block of Veterans Memorial Dr.: Officers responded on a complaint of a male parking in the parking lot yelling and screaming at party in a room. The parties exchanged property and the male left the area.

3:02 p.m., 900 block of Dorothy St.: A party requested officers attempt to contact a party and advise him not to return to her residence. Officers will attempt to contact him.

4:55 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: An officer responded to the police department to speak with a party regarding a child not being in the correct car seat. The party was advised of her options.

5:04 p.m., 1000 block of N. Jesse James: An officer responded on a request for a courtesy ride. Transportation was found for the party.

5:27 p.m., 400 block of S. Thompson Ave.: Janet Ferguson, WF, 74, and Patrick Clifford, WM, 67, were involved in a traffic accident. No injuries and minor damage was reported.

5:48 p.m., 500 block of Park Ave.: An officer responded to a report of open burning. The party was advised of the city ordinance.

6:02 p.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded to a report of a dog walking in the road. The dog was not found.

6:45 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Officer responded to a report of property damage. The party was advised of her options.

7:39 p.m., 100 block of Crown Hill Rd.: Officers responded with fire units on an outside fire. They stood by until they were no longer needed.

7:34 p.m., 1700 block of Johnson Industrial Dr.: Officer responded to a report of a domestic assault. The parties were gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

8:30 p.m., 100 block of W. Broadway Ave.: An officer responded on a request to unlock a vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked.

8:55 p.m., 100 block of Crown Hill Rd.: Officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

9:18 p.m., 300 block of W. Excelsior St.: Officer responded to a medical call with EMS. He stood by until he was no longer needed.

9:58 p.m., 200 block of W. Excelsior St.: Officer responded on a report of a noise complaint. The party was advised to keep it down.

10:40 p.m., 1600 block of Kearney Rd.: Michael Teegarden, WM, 36, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for non-support with a bond of $3,371.78. Tamara Thornburg, WF, 39, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for no proof insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs with a bond of $500.

11:14 p.m., 700 block of Magnolia Ave.: A WM, 22, was detained for assault and 12-hour detoxification.

11:57 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Officer stood by while a prisoner was checked out and he signed a refusal to be transported.

 

Wednesday, February 28

12:24 a.m., 300 block of N. Thompson Ave.: Officers responded with the ambulance on a medical call. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

12:33 a.m., Isley Blvd. and Lovers Ln.: Officers checked the area in reference to a 911 hang up call. Officers did not locate anyone or anything out of order.

2:15 a.m., Isley Blvd. and Linda Ln.: Officer responded in reference to meeting a Ray County Deputy and taking possession of a motel key. Upon arrival the Deputy advised the subject had changed her mind and will keep the keys.

9:17 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer conducted an escort for the Finance Department.

11:19 a.m., 100 block of Crest Dr.: Officer responded and spoke with an officer about a suspicious item which came in the mail. The party was advised of his options.

12:03 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: An officer responded to the ambulance when a prisoner was transported to the emergency room.

12:31 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: A party was fingerprinted for employment.

12:47 p.m., 600 block of Ellsworth St.: Officers were dispatched on a complaint of parties acting inappropriately in the park. The party were contacted and counseled on their behavior. They agreed to leave the park.

3:10 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Crown Hill Rd.: Officer contacted parties who had been involved in a minor accident. They advised that they were exchanging information and did not need a report.

3:33 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Crown Hill Rd.: Joshua G. Duncan, WM, 40, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was booked and released with a court date.

3:44 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Officer spoke with a party who believes individuals are squatting on his property. He was advised of his options.

4:12 p.m., 1000 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded to a report of a careless driver. The officer seized and issued a citation for illegal plates.

4:29 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Dr.: Officer responded to a report of two drivers doing donuts in the high school parking lot. The vehicles were gone prior to officer’s arrival.

4:39 p.m., 1100 block of W. Forest Ln.: An officer spoke with a party regarding concerns about his child. The party was advised of his options.

4:42 p.m., 700 block of Northwind Dr.: An officer spoke with a party regarding an incident involving her child and another at the playground. No one answered at the other child’s residence. The parents were advised of their options.

5:07 p.m., 100 block of South St.: An officer responded on a request to unlock a vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked.

5:10 p.m., 900 block of St. Paul Ave.: Officer took a report for fraudulent use of a debit card.

5:59 p.m., 1100 block of St. Paul Ave.: An animal control officer spoke with a party regarding a neighbor’s dog which is excessively barking all day. The party was advised of his options.

6:52 p.m., Old Quarry Rd. and 92 Hwy.: Officers responded to the area to assist Clay County deputies with locating a suspect that had fled on foot.

7:34 p.m., N. Titus Ave. and Williams St.: Officers responded to a report of a leaving the scene accident. The suspect vehicle was located. Erik A. Karlsson, WM, 43, was arrested for DWI and open liquor. His bond was set at $600.

8:50 p.m., 100 block of Highland Park Ave.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male party. The party was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

9:10 p.m., 2200 block of Happy Ln.: Officer requested a report for a stealing incident which occurred on Feb. 15, 2018.

9:33 p.m., 1500 block of Kearney Rd.: Mindy Stewart, WF, 39, and Katherine Lemmons, WF, 53, were involved in a minor vehicle accident.

9:47 p.m., 1500 block of Tracy Ave.: Elissa M. Naylor, WF, 18, reported personal belongings stolen from her vehicle. The investigation continues.

10:07 p.m., 92 Hwy. and Isom Rd.: Officer assisted Clay County with dispatching an injured deer that was hit by a car and located just outside the city.

10:53 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Buddy J. Wood, Jr., WM, 52, was arrested on a local fail to appear warrant for leaving the scene of an accident and trespassing with a cash only bond of $1000.

 

Thursday, March 1

2:08 a.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded in reference to a vehicle sitting at the gasoline pumps and not pumping gasoline. Officer advised the vehicle was using the pumps now and nothing appeared out of order.

4:02 a.m., 1700 block of Briarwood Ln.: Officer responded in reference to the same vehicle driving in the area for a several minutes. Officer checked the area and did not locate the vehicle in the area.

6:06 a.m., 700 block of Summit St.: Officer contacted Blake Corum, WM, 37, who reported his vehicle damaged overnight and some temporary license stolen. Investigation continues.

8:10 a.m., 200 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded on a panic alarm at the business. Contact was made and it was determined accidental.

8:21 a.m., Tracy Ave. and Tiger Dr.: Officer located an unoccupied vehicle in the area. Contact was made with the owner who advised it had broken down and would be moved within a few days.

8:59 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway: An escort was conducted for the Finance Department.

9:45 a.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officer spoke with a party who was having problems with his neighbor. The party was advised of his options.

12:45 p.m., 69 Hwy. and McCleary Rd.: Officer stood by with a disabled vehicle while arrangements were made to get the vehicle towed.

1:12 p.m., 70 block of East St.: An officer spoke with a party about a civil matter.

1:50 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Nichole Grigsby, WF, 43, surrendered on a local warrant for failure to appear for stealing. She posted $500 cash bond and was released with a court date.

1:56 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Italian Way: A party turned in an ID which was found in the area. The owner was contacted and requested it be destroyed at Police HQ.

3:36 p.m., 1100 block of St. Paul Ave.: Animal Control Officer responded to the residence on a barking dog complaint. The owner was counseled and given a warning.

3:43 p.m., 100 block of May St.: Animal Control Officer responded to the residence on a fail to restrain complaint. Negative contact was made and a notice was left at the door.

4:22 p.m., Italian Way and 69 Hwy.: Guy M. Gallinger, WM, 42, and Susan A. Rodriguez, WF, 27, were involved in a non-injury traffic accident.

4:39 p.m., 1000 block of Italian Way: Eric R. Stombaugh, WM, 18, Benjamin L. Base, WM, 34, were involved in a non-injury traffic accident.

5:03 p.m., 700 block of N. Main St.: Officers responded to the area on a report of suspicious parties. The parties were contacted and agreed to leave until it could be clarified as to whether or not they are permitted to be there.

8:39 p.m., 69 Hwy. and 92 Hwy.: Officer responded to the area on a report of a careless driver. The area was checked, but the suspect vehicle was not located.

9:33 p.m., Broadway Ave. and Thompson Ave.: Officers observed thick smoke in the downtown area. The area was checked, but the source of the smoke could not be determined.

10:04 p.m., 69 Hwy. and McCleary Rd.: Richard D. Richardson, BM, 21, was arrested on a Kansas City PD warrant for disorderly conduct with bond of $1,000.

10:29 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Juniper St.: Officer responded to the area on a report of a careless driver. The suspect vehicle was located but no moving violations were observed. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

10:53 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Tony O. Lavine III, WM, 29, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for expired license plates with bond of $145 cash only.

 

Friday, March 2

1:59 a.m., 200 block of Ridgeway Ave.: Officer responded in reference to a vehicle driving up and down the streets without lights. Officer did not locate the vehicle in the area.

3:27 a.m., 69 Hwy. and McCleary Rd.: Officers responded in reference to a careless driver entering the city limits. Officers located and followed the vehicle through the city and the vehicle obeyed all traffic laws and left the city limits.

6:56 a.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: Officers responded on a business panic alarm. Contact was made with employees who advised it was accidental.

7:05 a.m., 1400 block of Hospital Dr.: Officer responded to take a report for a vehicle which was taken with permission but was not returned to the owner. Investigation continues.

7:34 a.m., 11000 block of Orrick Rd.: Officers responded on a request from Ray County Sheriff’s Office to assist EMS with a combative patient. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

7:37 a.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: Officer responded to take a report for a private property accident. Investigation continues.

7:48 a.m., Isley Blvd. and Linda Ln.: Kayla Shelley, WF, 26, was arrested for driving while suspended. She was booked in and released on her own recognizance with a court date.

9:18 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer provided an escort for the finance department.

11:32 a.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded to take a report for a private property accident.

12:42 p.m., 700 block of N. Main St.: Officer checked the area for parties who were acting suspiciously. The parties were not located.

1:19 p.m., 700 block of Sagamore Rd.: Officer responded on a report that a canine was running loose and the door was open to the residence it belonged to. The door was secured and the canine was left inside.

1:46 p.m., Saratoga Ave. and Broadway Ave.: A detective requested a report for a careless driver.

2:47 p.m., 1000 block of Miss Belle St.: Officer checked the welfare of a party. Everything was fine and nothing further was requested.

6:03 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: David D. Tucker, WM, 26, was arrested on a two-day court confinement.

6:19 p.m., 1700 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Brendon L. Heathman, WM, 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana, open liquor, and minor in possession of alcohol.

6:53 p.m., 600 block of Park Ave.: Officers responded to the area on a report of a disturbance. It was determined to be verbal only and nothing further was requested.

6:59 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: Officer unlocked a vehicle for a party.

9:09 p.m., 1900 block of Karlton Way: Officer responded to the residence on a barking dog complaint. The owner was contacted and agreed to bring the dog inside for the night.

9:35 p.m., 1000 block of Italian Way: Officers responded to the area on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. The suspect vehicle was not located.

9:51 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Joshua K. Duncan, WM, 18, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia with bond of $300 cash only.

10:47 p.m., 69 Hwy. and McCleary Rd.: Officers responded to the area to look for a hit and run suspect for Liberty PD. The suspect was located at a residence outside the city and nothing further was requested.

11:08 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Commuter Lot: A BM, 27, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for driving while revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of marijuana.

11:17 p.m., 300 block of W. Excelsior St.: Officer responded to the residence on a report of two parties disturbing the peace. The parties were gone prior to officer’s arrival. The reporting party was advised of her options.

11:42 p.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded in reference to a subject who was unable to pay his limo fees to the limo driver. The subjects were contacted and the driver was paid and the subject was escorted home for the rest of the evening.

 

Saturday, March 3

1:41 a.m., 600 block of Linn Ave.: Officer responded in reference to the resident hearing noises outside the house and maybe someone knocking on her door. Officer checked the area and did not locate anyone in the area.

10:11 a.m., 700 block of Tiger Dr.: An officer provided a vehicle unlock.

10:41 a.m., 100 block of Melwood St.: An officer responded on a request for a welfare check, as the resident’s vehicle door was wide open. Contact was made and extra patrol was requested for parties possibly breaking into vehicles in the area.

11:58 a.m., 1300 block of Persimmon Dr.: An officer responded to speak with the resident regarding a juvenile possibly snooping through her mail. She was advised of her options.

12:56 p.m., 500 block of Tiger Dr.: Officers responded on a report of a possible assault. Contact was made with parties involved and it was determined to be a misunderstanding. Nothing further was requested.

2:08 p.m., 100 block of E. Forest Ln.: An officer responded on a request for a welfare check of a party who had not been heard from for a few hours. Contact was made and everything was fine.

2:18 p.m., 500 block of Tiger Dr.: An officer spoke with a juvenile regarding stealing. The party was counseled.

2:50 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Cole Racy, WM, 22, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant to answer to a revocation hearing. He was booked in and issued a cash only bond of $500.

3:05 p.m., 900 block of S. Marietta St.: An officer responded on suspicious activity in the area when a passerby observed what appeared to be a firearm in a vehicle with a passenger. Contact was made with the parties in the vehicle and it was determined to be a BB gun and he was advised to secure it. Nothing further was requested.

3:12 p.m., 1000 block of Italian Way: An officer responded on a report that a WF was causing a disturbance. The party was contacted and agreed to leave for the remainder of the day.

3:16 p.m., 400 block of South St.: An officer spoke with a party regarding complaints about a 72-hour tow sticker.

3:18 p.m., 1100 block of Tracy Ave.: Officers responded on a report that a juvenile was driving carelessly in the parking lot. Contact was made with the juvenile and he was counseled.

4:28 p.m., N. Jesse James Rd. and N. Titus Ave.: Officers responded to a report of a careless driver swerving in traffic. The vehicle was located and the driver was counseled on their driving.

4:29 p.m., 400 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer responded to a report of a dog being told to attack someone. The caller was third party, when officers arrived on scene there was no dog or anyone claiming to be attacked.

4:42 p.m., 1600 block of Kearney Rd.: An officer responded to a report of parties going through clothes bins. The parties were gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

4:47 p.m., 1300 block of St. Louis Ave.: An officer responded on a request to check the welfare of a juvenile that was seen playing in the middle of the road. The juvenile was fine and the parent was counseled.

5:18 p.m., 900 block of Dorothy St.: Officers responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was found at the residence.

5:47 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Dr.: An officer responded to a report of vehicles driving recklessly through a parking lot. A vehicle was contacted and counseled.

6:42 p.m., 200 block of Ridgeway Ave.: An officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

6:52 p.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave.: An officer responded to a report of a dog walking in the road. The dog was not located.

7:09 p.m., 1100 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: An officer responded to a report of customers not paying for their food. The officer made contact with the parties and the food was paid for.

7:29 p.m., 2000 block of Kary Ln.: An officer responded to a report of an open burn. The fire was being monitored and the fire department was contacted and advised that the fire pit was legal.

7:50 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary alarm. The building was secure, no one was inside.

8:10 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Tracy Ave.: Julie Lindsey, WF, 56, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding. She was booked and released with a court date.

8:14 p.m., Waller Ave. and Kearney Rd.: Christopher Cechvala, WM, 22, was involved in a minor single vehicle accident. There were no injuries and a report was not needed.

8:22 p.m., 2200 block of Happy Ln.: Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation. The parties were gone before the officer’s arrived.

9:14 p.m., 700 block of Tiger Dr.: Information was gathered for a report.

9:38 p.m., 700 block of S. Marietta St.: Officers responded with EMS on a medical call. The officers secured the scene and stood by until they were no longer needed.

9:41 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: An officer spoke with a party regarding the welfare of his child. The party was advised of his options.

10:21 p.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: An officer responded to the area on a report of a disturbance. Contact was made with the two parties who advised it was verbal only and nothing further was requested.

9:52 p.m., 1400 block of Kearney Rd.: Samuel R. Logan, WM, 18, was arrested for improper display and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released on his own recognizance with a court date and subsequently re-arrested on a Ray County warrant for failure to appear for no proof of insurance with bond of $200 cash only. Tyler S. Wilmes, WM, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was booked and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

 

Sunday, March 4

12:07 a.m., 300 block of Foley St.: Officer spoke with a party via telephone regarding an issue with her granddaughter being bullied. She was advised of her options.

2:38 a.m., 100 block of Kevin St.: Officer took a report for domestic assault. An emergency ex parte was obtained and served to the respondent.

2:51 a.m., 400 block of Regent Ave.: Officers responded to The Elm’s on a report of a verbal disturbance between guests. The parties were separated and nothing further was requested.

3:39 a.m., Tracy Ave. and Lynn Rd.: Darren L. Keith, WM, 46, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, no turn signal, and fail to yield. He was booked and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

3:43 a.m., 300 block of May St.: Officer responded to the area on a report of suspicious parties. The area was checked but the parties were not located.

4:24 a.m., 500 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded to Pour Boys on a panic alarm. It was accidental and nothing further was requested.

9:19 a.m., 1700 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: A WM, 29, was placed on a 24-hour hold for possession of a controlled substance.

11:04 a.m., 400 block of Old Orchard Rd.: Officers responded with EMS on a combative party who was having medical issues. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

1:04 p.m., S. Titus Ave. and E. Forest Ln.: An officer responded to check the area for a juvenile reportedly riding on a bicycle and holding onto the window of a vehicle as it was driving on the roadway. The area was checked and nothing was located.

1:56 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: An officer responded on a report of the smell of marijuana coming from an apartment in the complex. The area was checked and the source of the odor was not located.

2:39 p.m., 700 block of Park Ave.: An officer responded to take a report for domestic assault. Information was obtained.

3:36 p.m., 900 block of Isley Blvd.: An officer provided a vehicle unlock.

4:24 p.m., 100 block of Richmond St.: An officer responded to a report of a juvenile walking alone. The juvenile was located and taken back to his residence.

4:41 p.m., 1300 block of Tracy Ave.: An officer responded to a report of a vehicle stalled in the middle of the intersection. The party was able to start the car and get it removed from the roadway.

5:07 p.m., 90 block of East St.: An officer took a report on a juvenile that was bit by a dog.

5:45 p.m., Crown Hill Rd. and 69 Hwy.: An officer responded to a report of a reckless driver. The vehicle was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

6:22 p.m., 1700 block of Rainbow Blvd.: An officer investigated a suspicious circumstance. Everything was fine, nothing further was requested.

6:33 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Patsy Ln.: Officers responded to a report of reckless driving. The vehicle could not be located.

8:19 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Dr.: Officers investigated a threat made toward the schools. Information was obtained for a report. Investigation continues.

8:34 p.m., 1800 block of Kearney Rd.: An officer responded to a noise complaint of a barking dog. The owner was counseled.

8:45 p.m., 600 block of Henrie Ave.: Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. The argument was verbal only and the parties were advised of their options.

9:40 p.m., 1000 block of Isley Blvd.: Officers responded to a commercial alarm. The building was secure.

10:37 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Jerry W. Yochim, WM, 53, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for trespassing with bond of $250 cash only.

 

Monday, March 5

6:16 a.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: Officers responded to the area on a report of an elderly male party driving the wrong way on the highway. He was located and given a courtesy ride to his residence and his family was notified.

10:36 a.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Jerry Yochim, WM, 53, was arrested on a Chillicothe PD warrant for larceny with a bond of $250 cash only. He was booked and incarcerated pending extradition.

10:50 a.m., 500 block of Tiger Dr.: Officers responded to speak with management about a party they wanted issued trespass warning. Officers will attempt to contact the party and issue a verbal warning.

12:32 p.m., 900 block of Martin Ave.: Officer was dispatched on a 911 hang up call. It was determined a mother and daughter had been arguing and another family member made the call. No one wanted any action taken.

12:19 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Officer responded on a report of wires down on the roadway. The officer moved cable wires to the side of the street.

12:53 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Dr.: An officer was dispatched on a 911 call with an open line. The party was contacted and advised it had been an accidental pocket dial.

1:11 p.m., 69 Hwy. near Pony Express Rd.: Officers responded with the ambulance and Highway Patrol on a report of an injury accident. The officers cleared once their assistance was no longer needed.

1:56 p.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: An officer assisted a party who was locked out of his car.

2:29 p.m., 200 block of W. Broadway Ave.: Officers conducted a funeral escort.

2:53 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: An officer took a report of a theft from Walmart.

3:00 p.m., 400 block of Benton Ave.: Officers issued a trespass warning to an unwanted party.

3:49 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Tanner Breece, WM, 20, was arrested on two local warrants for failure to appear for stealing. His bond was set at $1250 cash only. He was booked and incarcerated pending payment of bond.

4:28 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: An officer took a report on a male party trespassing.

4:47 p.m., 100 block of Northview Dr.: Officer responded to a report of harassment. The party was advised of his options.

4:54 p.m., 1500 block of McKee Rd.: Officers responded on a request from Caldwell County to attempt to locate a subject. The subject was not found.

5:04 p.m., Kearney Rd. and N. Titus Ave.: Officer responded to a report of a traffic accident. The vehicles were gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

5:45 p.m., 300 block of E. Excelsior St.: Officer contacted subjects in reference to a possible incident which might be occurring tomorrow. Information was taken and officers will handle the incident if it occurs.

5:57 p.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: An officer responded to a report of a theft. Information was taken for report and investigation continues.

7:22 p.m., 600 block of Tiger Dr.: An officer responded to unlock a vehicle.

7:25 p.m., 300 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer responded to unlock a vehicle.

8:43 p.m., 700 block of Magnolia Ave.: Officers responded with fire units on a structure fire. They stood by until they were no longer needed.

9:01 p.m., 200 block of Fine St.: Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person. The party was gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

9:12 p.m., 500 block of Dunbar Ave.: An officer spoke with a party regarding suspicious activity.

11:55 p.m., 200 block of Fine St.: Officers responded to a report of an open door. Nothing was missing and the door was secured.
