Tuesday, January 23
12:25 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Destiny J. Goff, WF, 22, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for trespassing. She was booked in with a $250 cash only bond.
12:27 a.m., 1400 block of Kearney Rd.: Officer responded on an alarm call at the business. The alarm was a false alarm.
6:47 a.m., 1200 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded to an area in reference to a vehicle in the ditch at the location. Officer stood by until a wrecker responded and removed the vehicle and there was no damage.
7:25 a.m., Kearney and Collette: Officer responded to the area in reference to a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Officer stood by until the vehicle was removed from the roadway.
7:28 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway: Steven Kinnard, WM, 21, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted $500 cash bond and was released with a court date.
8:27 a.m., 600 block of Isley Blvd.: Officers responded with EMS on a seizure in progress. Officers stood by until no longer needed.
9:12 a.m., 1300 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: An officer responded to unlock a vehicle.
10:41 a.m., McKee Rd. and H Hwy.: An officer responded with the ambulance on a medical call.
11:55 a.m., 400 block of Hazelwood St.: An officer responded on a 911 hang up call. The call had been made by a toddler.
11:59 a.m., 2200 block pf Patsy Ln.: An officer responded with the ambulance on a medical call.
12:34 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Austin Colston, WM, 23, was arrested on a Ray County warrant for failure to appear with a cash bond of $500.
1:04 p.m., 300 block of May St.: An officer responded to recover a syringe in the yard of the residence.
1:10 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded to check the welfare of a child after a neighbor reported that it sounded as if the child was being beaten. The child was fine.
1:50 p.m., 2200 block of Kearney Rd.: Officer stood by with parties working on a trailer without a permit until Code Enforcement could respond. The trailer was stickered and the parties were advised to cease work until they had the proper permits.
2:12 p.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officers responded with the ambulance on a medical call.
2:23 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: A WM, 27, was placed on a 24-hour hold for trespassing, possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. A WF, 23, was placed on a 24-hour hold for stealing, trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance. Danielle Shelton, WF, 23, was arrested on a local warrant for stealing with a bond of $500 cash only. Andrew Seabaugh, WM, 27, was arrested on a local warrant for stealing with a bond of $500 cash only.
2:48 p.m., Seybold Rd and N Hwy.: Officers responded on a report that a party had threatened city workers with physical harm. Contact was made with parties involved and they were counseled.
3:39 p.m., 1700 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officer responded on a report of a party soliciting for signatures in the parking lot of the business. Contact was made and she was counseled.
3:59 p.m., 100 block of Lynn Rd.: Officers responded to a report of a subject with an outside warrant. The party was not found.
5:15 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Destiny Goff, WF, 22, was arrested on six KCPD warrants with a total bond of $837.50.
5:28 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Eldon Tucker, WM, 26, was arrested on a KCPD warrant with a bond of $150.
6:18 p.m., 100 block of Dunbar Ave.: Officers responded to a report of a male laying in the middle of the street. The party was transported by ambulance.
6:23 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Rainbow Blvd.: An officer responded to a report of a suspicious male knocking on people’s doors. The subject was gone prior.
6:52 p.m., S. Titus St. and Cordell St.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with the hazards on. The owner was located and talked to.

Wednesday, January 24
12:57 a.m., 69 Hwy. and Tracy Ave.: Thomas Reno, WM, was arrested for driving while suspended. He was booked and released with a citation.
9:38 a.m., 800 block of Bell Dr.: A party spoke with an officer about being threatened by her husband.
12:29 p.m., 1200 block of 92 Hwy.: A party reported that she had lost some medication.
1:05 p.m., 1000 block of Magnolia West Ave.: Officer responded to report of someone having a tree trimmed which did not belong to them. The party was only having parts of the tree which hung over his yard trimmed.
1:24 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Alexandra Zupan, WF, 25, was arrested by Gladstone PD on local warrant for failure to appear for expired plates. She paid $190 cash payout at Gladstone and was released.
2:12 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Vintage Dr.: Officers checked the area on vehicle reported to be traveling at a very high rate of speed. The vehicle was not located.
2:49 p.m., 100 block of Greenwood Ave.: David W. Pendleton, WM, 50, was arrested on a Ray County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance with bond of $5000. Michelle A. Priest, WF, 46, was arrested on two KCPD warrants for stealing and hindering with bond of $300.
3:00 p.m., 300 block of Wisconsin Ave.: Officer assisted DHS with an investigation.
3:35 p.m., 100 block of Greenwood Ave.: Officer responded to the residence on an open door. The door was re-secured and nothing further was requested.
4:00, 100 block of Greenwood Ave.: Officer responded to the lobby to speak with a party regarding vandalism. It was determined to be a civil issue and the party was advised of her options.
4:06 p.m., 1300 block of Kearney Rd.: Officer recovered narcotics which were found on the premises.
4:26 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.:Officer met with a party in the lobby regarding a civil issue. He was advised of his options.
4:29 p.m., 69 Hwy and Crown Hill Rd.: Jonathon T. Martin, WM, 25, and Elizabeth C. Cullen, WF, 28, were involved in a non-injury traffic accident.
4:52 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: A WF, 33, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for stealing and trespassing. A WF, 23, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for stealing.
5:44 p.m., 1100 block of Cordell St.: Officer responded to the area on a report of road rage. The suspect vehicle was not located. Nothing further was requested.
7:24 p.m., 500 block of S. Kansas City Ave.: Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. A report was taken.
9:20p.m., 700 block of Tiger Dr.: Officer responded to the area on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and no violations were observed.
11:09 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Schwartz: Jessica Wyatt, WF, 22, was arrested for driving under the influence and fail to keep right. She was released after the booking process.
11:47 p.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer stood by while a student was treated for possible psychiatric problems and transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
11:49 p.m., 600 block of Henrie Ave.: Officer responded to the residence on a report of a disturbance. It was determined to be verbal only. Nothing further was requested.

Thursday, January 25

6:14 a.m., Lake Maurer and East St.: Officer responded to the area to check on a vehicle which was observed driving through the neighborhood several times before parking in a driveway. Contact was made with a WM, 29, who advised he had run out of gas and was waiting on a friend. Nothing further was requested.
8:49 a.m., 300 S. Main St.: Andrew Seabaugh, WM, 27, was arrested on an Independence warrant for shoplifting with a bond of $2000.
9:14 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer conducted an escort for the finance department.
10:54 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: David Pendleton, WM, 50, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for careless driving. He was issued a cash only bond of $225.
10:56 a.m., 700 block of Roosevelt Ave.: Animal Control Officer responded on a report of a failure to restrain. The owner was issued a warning.
11:08 a.m., 700 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officer responded on a request from KCPD to check for a missing party out of their city. There was negative contact with the party.
11:35 a.m., 1600 block of Rainbow Blvd.: An officer provided a funeral escort.
12:27 p.m., 400 block of Foxglove St.: Officer responded on a residential alarm. There was negative contact at the residence.
1:17 p.m., 200 block of E Broadway Ave.: Loren Litton, WM, 38, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for no proof of insurance. He was issued a cash only bond of $350. Additional charges pending.
3:20 p.m., 2000 block of Karlton Way: Officer responded with Code Enforcement on a report of utilities being tampered with. Contact was made with the responsible party. Parties agreed to handle the matter with Code Enforcement and nothing further was requested.
3:33 p.m., 500 block of S. Kansas City Ave.: Officer recovered drug paraphernalia that was found on the street.
3:42 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Officer spoke with a party regarding a possibly stolen firearm. No report was requested at this time.
4:29 p.m., 100 block of Faulkner Dr.: Officers responded to the area on a report a juvenile had walked away from the residence after a disagreement with a parent. The juvenile was located and returned home.
7:16 p.m., 300 block of W. Excelsior St.: Officers responded with EMS on a medical call and stood by until no longer needed.
9:35 p.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave.: Officers responded to the business on a burglary alarm. The business was secure and nothing further was requested.
9:37 p.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded to the area to unlock a vehicle for a party. Upon arrival, the party was already being assisted by another citizen and nothing further was requested.
10:13 p.m., 1400 block of Hospital Dr.: Officer responded with EMS on a report of a combative patient. Officer stood by until the patient was safely transferred.
10:16 p.m., 700 block of Divide St.: Officers responded to the residence on a report of a disturbance. It was determined to be verbal only. Nothing further was requested.
10:33 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officer responded to the area on a report of a careless driver. The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied and nothing further was requested.
11:15 p.m., 200 block of Wisconsin Ave.: Officers responded to the residence with EMS on a report of a party who had fallen down the stairs. Officer assisted until no longer needed.

Friday, January 26

12:03 a.m., 200 block of E. Excelsior St.: Officer responded in reference to a subject missing her vehicle. Officer contacted the subject and her daughter at the residence and it was determined per the daughter the vehicle had been removed from the residence as the caller could no longer drive per doctor’s orders. Nothing else was requested.
7:20 a.m., Isley Blvd. and Linda Ln.: Gary Wrisinger, WM, 31, was arrested for driving while revoked, illegal plates and no proof of insurance. He was booked in and placed on a $350 bond.
8:00 a.m., 300 block of Lena St.: Officer responded to speak with a party regarding being harassed by a known party. She was advised of her options.
8:56 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer conducted an escort for the finance department.
9:22 a.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Sundi Sutherlin, WF, 47, and Elson Berndt, WM, 74, were involved in a minor noninjury accident.
9:44 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Philip Muff, WM, 31, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for stealing. He was placed on a $500.00 cash only bond.
10:05 a.m., Excelsior St. and Linden Ave.: Officer responded on a report of a careless driver. The driver was contacted and counseled on his driving.
10:48 a.m., 200 block of W. Broadway Ave.: An officer provided a funeral escort.
11:20 a.m., 2200 block of Kearney Rd.: Officer located an open door at the residence. Contact was made with parties and everything was fine.
1:35 p.m., Isley Blvd. and Saratoga Ave.: Stacy Cox WF 33 was arrested on a Claycomo warrant for expired plates with a bond of $500. She was later released to Claycomo PD.
2:12 p.m., 200 block of Fine St.: An officer responded to take a report for theft of medications.
2:34 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Micki Pfeifer, WF, 45, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for endangering the welfare of a child. She was booked in with a cash only bond of $300.
2:41 p.m., 300 block of Beverly Ave.: Officer responded on a report of a careless driver. Contact was made with parties and they were counseled.
3:18 p.m., 1900 block of W. 69 Hwy.: Officer spoke with a party regarding a missing license plate. The license plate was later located. Nothing further was requested.
3:57 p.m., Kevin St. and Collette St.: Officers responded to the area on a report of parties in the field. The parties were contacted and advised to leave the area.
4:16 p.m., 900 block of Dorothy St.: Officer responded to the lobby to speak with a party regarding a civil issue. The party was advised of her options.
4:22 p.m., Officer responded to the residence to speak with a party regarding harassment. The party was advised of her options.
4:36 p.m., 300 block of Piedmont PI.: Officers responded to the area on a report of a male party running through the woods with a handgun. No one was located.
5:12 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Alexis M. Thompson, WF, 21, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for possession of drugs, possession of paraphernalia and stealing. She was booked in with a cash only bond of $1000.
5:58 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Cevin R. Shoemaker, WM, 53, was arrested on a 5-day court confinement.
8:44 p.m., 69 Hwy. and Wornall Rd.: Officers responded to the area on a report of a careless driver. The vehicle was not located.
9:05 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Roger R. Eiserer, WM, 44, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for driving while suspended, no proof of insurance x 2, stop sign, seat belt, and fail to appear. He was booked in with a cash only bond of $800.
9:48 p.m., 600 block of S. Marietta St.: Officers responded to a report of an assault the street involving multiple parties. All parties involved were counseled and information was taken for a report.
9:59 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Rd.: Officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Excelsior Trade Fair. The   area was checked, but the vehicle was not located.
10:35 p.m., 200 block of Lynn Rd.: Officers responded to a report of possible burglary. The residence was checked and no problems were found.

Saturday, January 27

9:39 a.m., 600 block of Birch St.: Officers responded on a verbal disturbance in progress. Contact was made with all parties involved and they were trespassed from the property and were advised to leave the area. Nothing further was requested.
10:18 a.m., 700 block of N. McCleary Rd.: An officer responded to take a report for burglary. The investigation continues.
10:52 a.m., 700 block of S. Marietta St.: An officer responded to PHQ to speak with a party regarding damage to her vehicle. The RP did not wish to make a report at this time.
11:26 a.m., Elms Blvd and Regent Ave.: An officer responded to PHQ to retrieve a wallet that had been found. The wallet was returned to its owner.
12:43 p.m., 500 block of Sagamore Rd.: Officers responded to a report of a juvenile making suicidal statements via text messages. The statements were determined to be vague and parents were made aware of the situation. Nothing further was requested.
3:15 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An officer spoke with a party over the phone regarding harassment by a known party. Information was obtained and she was advised of her options.
5:17 p.m., Y Hwy. and Isley Blvd.: Officer responded to a report of parties throwing items from a truck onto the side of the road. The area was checked, but no vehicle or debris was located.
5:35 p.m., 700 block of Shirewood Rd.: Officers responded to the area to attempt to locate an intoxicated party that was possibly suicidal. Several locations were checked, but the party was not located.
6:31 p.m., 600 block of Pierson St.: Officers responded to a residential panic alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
8:59 p.m., 100 block of S. Thompson Ave.: Officer spoke with a party regarding a family issue. He was advised of his options.
9:14 p.m., 400 block of Superior St.: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Neighbors advised the parties had left prior to officers’ arrival.
9:24 p.m., Broadway Ave. and Elizabeth St.: Andrew J. Starkebaum, WM, 46, and Benjamin A. Starkebaum, WM, 1 5, were involved in an accident on private property with a parked car. Information was obtained for a report and left for the registered owner.
10:50 p.m., US 69 Hwy. and Patsy Ln.: Officers responded to the area on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. The vehicle was not located.

Sunday, January 28

8:27 a.m., 200 block of Fine St.: Officer received information on a party who needed to be checked on after making disturbing statements.
10:31 a.m., 2200 block of Patsy Ln.: An officer assisted a party who was locked out of her vehicle.
11:14 a.m., 100 block of Collette St.: Officers responded on a complaint of a party in a dumpster refusing to leave the property. The party was contacted and issued a trespass warning for the property.
12:56 p.m., Mill Street and Broadway Ave.: William House, WM, 61, was arrested for driving while revoked. He was booked and released with a court date.
1:34 p.m., 700 block of Northwind Dr.: Officers contacted juveniles and their parents after a complaint of a disturbance. Parties were counseled and released.
2:25 p.m., 700 block of Northwind Dr.: An officer spoke with a citizen who requested extra patrol in the area for suspicious activity.
3:12 p.m., 1200 block of S. Marietta St.: An officer responded to check on a vehicle parked behind the salt dome at Public Works. The vehicle was secure and unattended.
3:18 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: Brice Calvert, WM, 20, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for no insurance, improper lighting, possession of marijuana and failure to answer to an order for a revocation hearing. His bond was set at $500 cash only.
3:33 p.m., US 69 Hwy. and Cameron Rd.: Officer checked for a vehicle reported to being driven carelessly and at an excessive speed. The vehicle was not located.
4:57 p.m., 500 block of S. Kansas City Ave.:  Officers responded to a report of a party refusing to leave a residence. The party had left prior to officers’ arrival. He was issued a trespass warning.
6:56 p.m., 100 block of N. Main St.: Officer unlocked a vehicle for a party.
8:32 p.m., 200 block of Veterans Memorial Dr.: Erica J. Mitchell, WF, 20, was arrested on a Clay County warrant for endangering the welfare of a child with bond of $25,000. Ricky R. Mitchell Jr., WM, 23, was arrested on a Kansas City warrant for assault with bond of $1,000.

Monday, January 29

5:02 a.m., 100 block of Corum Rd.: Officers responded to the business on a report of a burglary alarm. It was accidental and everything was fine.
6:49 a.m., Wornall Rd. and 69 Hwy.: Officer responded to the area to assist a motorist with a vehicle issue. Traffic control was provided until the vehicle was moved from the roadway.
7:59 a.m., Sycamore and Old Orchard Rd.: Officer responded to check on a report of a tractor trailer with is loading gear dragging. The vehicle was not located.
9:14 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: An escort was conducted for the Finance Department.
9:32 a.m., 300 block of S. Main St.: Alexis Thompson, WF, 21, was arrested on a KCPD warrant for stealing with a $1000 bond. She was booked and incarcerated pending extradition.
9:52 a.m., 400 block of Benton Ave.: Officers were dispatched to check for a vehicle reported stolen from Ray County. The vehicle was not located.
10:01 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave.: John Malay, WM, 46, surrendered on a local warrant for failure to appear to answer citations for no proof of insurance and illegal plates. He posted $300 cash bond and was released with a court date.
11:04 a.m., 92 Hwy. and Dagley St.: A cell phone was found on the roadway and turned in to Headquarters. The owner was identified and a family member was contacted. They will advise him of its location.
11:22 a.m., 2200 Patsy Ln.: An officer assisted a party who was locked out of her vehicle.
12:46 p.m., 600 block of Centralia Ave.: An officer placed a 72-hour tow sticker on a vehicle which was illegally parked.
3:54 p.m., Patsy Ln. and 69 Hwy.: An officer assisted a party who had ran out of gas.
8:09 p.m., 2000 W. Jesse James Rd.: Officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm. An employee was contacted at the business and no problems were found.
9:00 p.m., 69 Hwy. and 92 Hwy.: Officer was involved in a short vehicle pursuit after a driver failed to yield. The vehicle and driver were located by Lawson PD. James J. Wood, WM, 40, was arrested for eluding, driving while revoked and lane violation. His bond was set at $950.
9:24 p.m., 1000 block of Marian St.: Information was taken for a Domestic Violence assault report. Investigation continues.
9:27 p.m., 1700 block of W. Jesse James Rd.: Officer responded to a commercial burglary alarm. A delivery driver was contacted at the business and no problems were found.
