Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018

8:44 a.m., 1100 block of Frontier St., Officer responded to take a report for theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation continues.

2:01 p.m., Old Orchard Avenue and Kearney Road, Officer conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle that was entered as stolen out of Kansas City. A WM, 55, was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for possession of a stolen vehicle, tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

4:09 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, An officer responded to a report of a previous assault. Information was taken for a report.

4:52 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, Officers responded to a report of an assault in progress. All parties were gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

4:55 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, David J. Horton Jr, WM, 27, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released with a court date.

8:02 p.m., 69 Highway and Italian Way, Officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit. Information was obtained for a report.

9:51 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Jeremy L. Claypole, WM, 33, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to appear for stealing. He was booked and has a bond of $500 cash-only.

11:05 p.m., 400 block of St. Louis Ave., Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Information was taken for a report.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018

4:39 a.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, Officer responded with the fire department on a report of an odor in the area. Officers and fire department checked the area with negative results.

8:32 a.m., 2200 block of Chanticleer, Officers responded with the Fire Department on a structure fire. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

2:34 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, Officers responded on a report of a disturbance in progress. Contact was made with the residents, who were involved in a physical disturbance. Andre McIntosh, BM, 35, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant with a cash only bond of $500. He was also placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for burglary, domestic assault and trespassing. The investigation continues.

8:54 p.m., 1000 block of Old Time Drive, Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in progress. One party had left prior to officers’ arrival. The other parties involved agreed to separate for the evening.

10:55 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Richard A. Holloway, WM, 44, was arrested by Liberty PD on an Excelsior Springs warrant for fail to appear for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked with a cash only bond of $1,000. He was transported to Clay County Detention Center

 

Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018

7:48 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., James Manns, WM, 37, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was booked in with a cash-only bond of $750.

8:40 a.m., Corum Road and Coronado Drive, An officer responded on a report of property found near the roadway.

9:32 a.m., 200 block of Valley St., Officers responded with the Fire Department on a report of a possible structure fire. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

3:56 p.m., Grand Avenue and Holmes Street, Officer took a report for vandalism.

5:20 p.m., Lee Street and Isley Boulevard, Officer took a report for stealing.

5:42 p.m., 100 block of Richmond St., Officers responded on a report of a possible burglary. It was determined a burglary had not occurred and the reporting party was advised of his options.

7:54 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., John E. Pope, WM, 33, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for no proof of insurance with bond of $300 cash-only.

 

Friday, Nov. 16, 2018

12:43 a.m., 1900 block of W. Jesse James Road, Grant Talley, WM, 28, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, open liquor, improper lighting. He was incarcerated pending payment of bond.

3:08 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., An officer took a report for destruction of property.

5:11 p.m., 1000 block of W. Seybold Road, Information was obtained for a burglary report. The investigation continues.

5:37 p.m., 700 block of Park Ave., Officers responded to a request for a welfare check of a juvenile from a family member. A WM, 21, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juveniles in the residence were determined to be fine.

10:15 p.m., 1600 block of Meadowlark Lane, A WM, 34, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for domestic assault. Ali F. Rosenkranz, WF, 25, was arrested on a local warrant for two counts of fail to appear for possession of drugs, stealing and possession of marijuana. Her bond was set at $1,000 cash-only.

11:53 p.m., 69 Highway and Cameron Road, Amanda K. Watson, WF, 26, was arrested for driving while suspended, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, child restraint, open liquor, drive right, turn signal and no insurance. She was booked and released with a court date.

11:54 p.m., 600 block of S. Marietta St., An officer responded to a report of a domestic assault. A WM, 37, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for domestic assault.

 

Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018

3:25 a.m., 200 block of Veterans Memorial Drive, Angela L. Peebles, WF, 57, reported items stolen from her motel room.

10:54 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Road, Officers responded to the area on a report of a disturbance. Nothing was found.

 

Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018

12:33 a.m., 600 block of S. Marietta St., Officers responded to the residence on a report of a disturbance. It was verbal only and the parties agreed to not cause any more problems for the rest of the evening.

12:59 a.m., 600 block of S. Marietta St., A WF, 34, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for domestic assault.

2:05 a.m., 2300 block of Vintage Court, Officers responded to the area on a report of three parties involved in physical fight. Two of the parties involved were located. They advised that it was not physical and they did not wish to make a report.

8:35 a.m., 1300 block of Milwaukee St., Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. Information was obtained for a report.

5:40 p.m., Broadway Avenue and Main Street, An officer completed a report regarding property found during the Christmas Parade that had been stored for safekeeping.

9:22 p.m., Isley Boulevard and Temple Avenue, An officer confiscated a controlled substance from a juvenile during a traffic stop. Information was obtained for a report and a citation was issued.

11:05 p.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, David E. Holmes, WM, 43, reported vandalism to his vehicle by a known party.

 

Monday, Nov. 19, 2018

12:10 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Homer S. Hall Jr, BM, 45, was arrested on an Excelsior Springs warrant for failure to appear for careless and imprudent, expired temporary tags, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while revoked with bond of $500 cash only.

10:42 a.m., Magnolia and Kimball Avenue, Jason St. John, WM, 37, was arrested for driving while suspended. He was booked in and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

2:08 p.m., 100 block of Woods Ave., George Chittim, WM, 52, was arrested on an Independence warrant for failure to appear with a bond of $400.

3:54 p.m., 1000 block of Miss Belle St., An officer spoke with a party regarding her car being vandalized. She was advised of her options and nothing further was requested.

5:01 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Jeremy Claypole, WM, 33, was arrested on a Caldwell County warrant for failure to appear for resisting/interfering with arrest with a $500 bond. He was booked and awaits Caldwell County extradition.

5:10 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Andre S. Mcintosh, BM, 35, was arrested on a Ray County failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana with a bond of $578.50 cash-only. He was booked and awaits Ray County extradition.

6:34 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., Austin Moyer, WM, 30, was arrested on a local warrant for failure to answer an order for a revocation hearing. He was booked and released with a court date.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018

12:20 a.m., Kearney and McCleary Road, Officer attempted to make a car stop on a vehicle, which failed to stop and left the city limits. Investigation continues.

2:25 a.m., Marian and Rowell St., Roger Tabor, WM, 31, and Parker Plunkett, WF, 17, were both arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and issued citations. Possible additional charges pending.

8:55 a.m., 400 block of S. Titus Ave., An officer responded to speak with a party regarding his vehicle being vandalized by eggs. The reporting party did not request a report at this time and only wanted officers aware.

11:15 a.m., 100 block of E. Broadway Ave., An officer responded to speak with a party regarding his vehicle being backed into on Nov. 17. He was advised of his options.

12:33 p.m., 600 block of Isley Blvd., Officers responded on a report of a disturbance in progress. Contact was made with parties involved who advised they had been in a physical confrontation. No one wished to assist in prosecution.

1:19 p.m., 300 block of E. Broadway Ave., Officers responded on a request from Kearney Police Department to check for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located and was released to the owner on scene.

3:07 p.m., E. Broadway Ave., Rickie Lantz, WM, 52, was arrested on a local failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana. He was booked in with a cash-only bond of $1,000.

4:09 p.m., 300 block of S. Kansas City Ave., Officers responded to a report of a juveniles damaging property and throwing items in the street.

5:31 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Road, John R. Lyon, WM, 54, reported a stealing from his business. The investigation continues.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018

3:59 a.m., 2000 block of W. Jesse James Road, Officers responded to the location in reference to a subject making a lot of noise and beating on doors. Officers contacted David Horton, WM, 27, who was arrested for disorderly conduct and 12 hours detoxification. He was booked and incarcerated pending payment of bond.

5:09 a.m., 400 block of E. Excelsior St., Eldon Tucker, WM, 27, was arrested on two Kansas City warrants, one for stealing with a bond $500 and speeding with a bond of $148.50. He was later released to Kansas City PD.

10:52 a.m., 1900 block of Clevenger Lane, Officer responded to take a report of a vehicle which was not returned by a known party. The vehicle and the party were found at a separate residence and the vehicle was returned.

11:22 a.m., 1100 block of N. Jesse James Road, Officers responded on a request from Clay County of a verbal disturbance at the residence. Contact was made with parties involved who advised it was verbal only. Nothing further was requested.

1:04 p.m., 300 block of Dunbar Ave., Officers responded on a report of a traffic accident involving a vehicle and property damage. The reporting party advised the suspect vehicle and driver left the scene of the accident. The suspect vehicle and driver were located at a separate location. Joshua Acker, WM, 32, was arrested for leaving the scene of a traffic accident and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was booked in and released on his own recognizance with a court date.

2:26 p.m., Old Orchard and St. Louis Avenue, Officers responded on a report of a leaving-the-scene accident. The area was checked for the suspect vehicle with negative results.

4:55 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, An officer collected a found wallet. Officer will attempt to contact owner.

6:54 p.m., 500 block of Prospect St., Jesi R. Woodruff, WF, 37, reported property stolen by a known party. The investigation continues.

8:40 p.m., Broadway Avenue and Elizabeth Street, Lindsey M. Bellemore, WF, 29, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of THC gummies, possession of THC liquid and taillamps required. She was booked and released with a court date.

9:23 p.m., 300 block of S. Main St., Lindsey M. Bellemore, WF, 29, was arrested on a Blue Springs warrant for failure to appear with a bond of $300. She was later released to Blue Springs PD.

11:17 p.m., 69 Highway and Kearney Road, Robert M. Bayless, WM, 50, was arrested on two Kansas City warrants for harassment with a total bond of $1,000. He was later released to KCPD.

 

Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018

6:39 p.m., 1200 block of N. Jesse James Road, Officers responded to It’s 5 Dollars business on a report of an assault. It was determined to be a misunderstanding and nothing further was requested. 

 

Friday, Nov. 23, 2018

12:49 a.m., Y and 10 Highway, Officer attempted to stop a vehicle, which fled the city limits on Y Highway. Officer was aware of the driver and no report was needed.

8:34 p.m., 700 block of Park Ave., Jacqueline N. Dodge, WF, 40, reported medication stolen from her residence. The investigation continues.

10:46 p.m., East Street and Muriel Lane, Amanda R. Bujnoch-Bowlin, WF, 29, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, high beams, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana with total bond of $950.

11:05 p.m., 400 block of Woods Ave., A WM, 23, was arrested on a 24-hour investigative hold for burglary and trespassing.

11:05 p.m., 300 block of S. Main Street, Jesse L. Logan, WM, 23, was arrested on a Platte County warrant for speeding and driving while revoked with total bond of $1,000 cash-only.

11:53 p.m., 1000 block of Italian Way, A WM, 35, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for vandalism.

 

Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018

12:37 a.m., 69 Highway and Rainbow Boulevard, Stormie C. Watson, WF, 22, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance with bond of $750.

8:31 p.m., Isley Boulevard and Saratoga Ave., Shannon McFee, WM, 43, was arrested on a Probation and Parole Board warrant with no bond. He was booked and awaits extradition.

 

Monday, Nov. 26, 2018

10:52 p.m., 200 block of E. Broadway Ave., Joshua G. Duncan, WM, 41, surrendered and was arrested on a local warrant for fail to answer to an order for a revocation hearing and fail to appear for possession of marijuana with a cash-only bond of $ 1,250.
