SENECA – Citing the “volatile situation and political misrepresentation within the Republican Party in Mis souri,” Seneca area business owner and rancher, Raleigh Ritter, seeks the Republican nomination for governor. Ritter is a graduate of Westminster College with a B.A. in business. He owns and operates a cattle ranch, co-owns Ritter Rail Inc. and has invested his own capital to spur business in southwest Missouri, information released by his campaign states. Ritter said he believes strongly in the protection of innocent life, defense of the Second Amendment and increasing Missouri’s economy. Among several candidates seeking the Republican gunernatorial nomination in the August primary is the expected frontrunner, Gov. Mike Parson. While lieutenant governor, Parson ascended to governor upon the resignation in disgrace of former Gov. Eric Greitens. Parson is running to be governor for the first time.
