Safe at Home program marks 18 years

Missouri’s Safe at Home program, which shields survivors of abuse and assault from having their home addresses exposed, is marking its 18th year of service with record participation.Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins recently announced the anniversary of the program. This confidential address service protects survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and other crimes. Since its creation in 2007, Safe at Home has empowered thousands of Missourians to rebuild their lives while keeping their home addresses private.This year, the program has 4,209 current participants, including both adults and children. Since its inception, Safe at Home has served more than 11,000 Missourians, offering them security and peace of mind in daily life. In the past 12 months alone, 1,163 new participants joined.
