School district, Hockemeier, White honored during BOE meeting

Mark Bullimore, Excelsior Springs School District director of communications, offered the district and board of education a few metaphorical pats on the back when the board convened Tuesday night at the Support Services Center. Bullimore announced a few results of the Community Excellence Awards, the Town & Country Leader’s annual recognition of people, businesses and non-profit organizations, as deemed by popular vote. The Town & County Leader is published by The Excelsior Springs Standard and its sister newspaper, Richmond News. The district received the Best Place of Business Award for 50plus employees, Bullimore told district leaders. “Congratulations for being the board of the best business of 50plus workers in town,” he said.
